Oh god, let’s talk this one through slowly before my head melt from unsuccessfully attempting to wrap my brain around this song. The beat sounds hella mystical like journeying across Saharan sands (or, um, like watching someone on TV journey across Saharan sands because I swear like I’ve ever been more than 5 miles away from my apartment). If you take it a step further, even the way the vocals are structured feels like a sort of journey. The first three mini-verses–Bazerk, Orko, and back to Bazerk–are relatively calm in tone. On top of that, the subject matter seems to grow more abstract with each line. All of which leads up to this beat-switch when Orko explodes into full prophet mode. That’s when shit-talking basically ceases and it’s like he does battle with the All-Seeing Eye Pyramid thing itself.

Looks like more artists need to get up on that Asian Communist rap swag. The Vietcong in my blood probably explains my attraction to this song.
