Video: El-Gun Legro Interview and Other Antics
Here’s an old interview on Youtube where Dominique Gilbert comes out of the El-Gun Legro character and talks about it specifically as a character that he’s portraying. It’s pretty entertaining on its own because he’s just a funny dude (the Youtube video description calls him the next Jamie Foxx). But it’s also interesting to see how it evolved from a weirdo joke into something … well, better, or something more than just a complete joke.
After the jump, you can check out a couple more videos. One is a music video dedicated to burritos and features another rapper named Rio De Jae Negro. The second finds him engaging in various shenanigans on the court. Basically, you can see how the whole El-Gun concept could’ve easily become just this complete joke. I’m guessing we can thank Jaz for steering Dominique in the right direction. Still, it’s hilarious in this “I’m Rick James, bitch!” sort of way so I’m not even mad. Do the Bubble Gut!
